The concert presents a carefully curated selection of pieces that brings the game’s epic fantasy world to life. Composed by Shoji Meguro—renowned for his work on the "PERSONA" series—the program will be performed by a full orchestra and choir, featuring multiple vocalists.

MAIKO KATAGIRIVOCALIST
Maiko Katagiri, one of the original vocalists on the Metaphor: ReFantazio Original Soundtrack, grew up surrounded by traditional Japanese folk music, and developed her skills as a folk singer while winning prizes and representing Gunma Prefecture at the national competition of the Japan Folk Song Association.
She made her major label debut as part of MAY'S, a self-produced unit she formed with fellow students, achieving three consecutive Top 10 albums on the Oricon charts. With exceptional vocal control and an emotional singing style that spans pop, R&B, and traditional Japanese folk music, Maiko is a versatile vocalist with a distinctive range.
SAM KREIDENWEISVOCALIST
American baritone Sam Kreidenweis is an accomplished vocalist whose rich, resonant voice and expressive stage presence have taken him across the United States and international stages. As a vocalist with ANÚNA, he has participated in projects such as Celtic Noh “Takahime” (The Hawk’s Well), a unique fusion of Irish music and Japanese Noh theatre presented by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
Sam has also been involved in a wide range of acclaimed video game music projects, including Xenogears, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Diablo III. For the Metaphor: ReFantazio concert, Sam brings the mystical and ceremonial spirit of ancient vocal traditions to the fantastical world of the game.
BRIAN EADSCONDUCTOR
Brian Eads is a Grammy-nominated conductor, arranger, and orchestrator. His video game concert credits include the 2024, 2025 Stardew Valley Concert Tours, the 2025 Death Stranding: Strands of Harmony tour and the Undertale: The Determination Symphony tour.
He made his Boston Pops debut in 2025 and has since returned to record with the orchestra at the Tanglewood Music Festival. In 2026, he conducted a three-week run of Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony with the Nashville Symphony and returned as Music Director of the Les Misérables World Arena Tour, including sold-out performances at Royal Albert Hall and Radio City Music Hall.
RANSOM MCCAFFERTYTABLA
Ransom McCafferty is an American musician based in New York City. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he studied the immense and unique world of Indian music with a focus on drums and tabla and is an active touring and session drummer.
He first fell in love with North Indian classical music after seeing a performance by Ustad Zakir Hussain, one of the most celebrated figures in Indian music, and was inspired to bring the tabla into contemporary musical settings while always staying true to the deep tradition of Indian classical music. He is also an educator, teaching both drums and tabla, as well as a lifelong student of a musical tradition as vast and complex as Indian classical music.

KEISUKE HONRYOVOCALIST
Keisuke Honryo, one of the original vocalists on the Metaphor: ReFantazio Original Soundtrack, was born in Ebina City in 1982. At the age of 24, he became the 34th chief priest of Myojoji Temple, and currently serves concurrently as a nursery school director. He holds an international license in Montessori education.
He leads a multifaceted life including being a member of "Namu Jazz Experiment", a musical unit that has drawn attention for combining sutra chanting with jazz performances. To broaden his horizons, he has traveled to Antarctica and over 25 countries worldwide, and actively works to spread Buddhism through various media, including video streaming.
THANAPOL SETABRAHMANACONDUCTOR
Thanapol Setabrahmana is a Thai conductor recognized for his versatile musicianship across the symphonic repertoire and innovative contemporary orchestral productions. He serves as Assistant Music Director of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra and Music Director of the Mahidol Wind Orchestra.
As a conductor specializing in orchestral crossover productions, his recent engagements include SM Classics featuring Red Velvet's Wendy, Undertale: The Determination Symphony, Stardew Valley: Symphony of Seasons, Death Stranding: Strands of Harmony, Violet Evergarden in Concert, Genshin Concert Tour, Evangelion Wind Symphony, Symphonic Anime, and numerous other international productions.
AYAKO IKEDATABLA
Ayako Ikeda, who played the tabla on the original soundtrack for Metaphor: ReFantazio, has studied tabla under U-zhaan, Pt. Anindo Chatterjee, and Anubrata Chatterjee.
She performs in classical Indian music concerts and has contributed to commercial soundtracks and TV drama scores.
She serves as a tabla instructor at Banshobo in Machida and Miyaji Music School in Shibuya.
